4 more weeks! OK less now that I took a few days to load the photos :)

Today I thought about just how much I love teaching and am devoted to my students.  I wanted to buy a piece of electronic equipment that at home, Amazon would deliver in two days, but here- we get no mail.  So I got on a bus and 1/2 hour later got off the bus.  Long story short- after asking directions from a few people and hiking over an hour in the hot sun, finally I got to the store and it was closed ( yes, I did check the website and it was supposed to be open).  SO FRUSTRATING!

I thought about being a waitress, but then decided to just go back another day after calling ahead and making him promise to be open.  sigh...

Ok photos du jour...  Listen to the "bell".  This is how this JHS changes classes.  I asked one teacher if it ever bothered her that the song never quite finished.... Oh OCD... :)

Lior puppy preMaine days

So this school I visited had all of the candidates with QR codes so the students could get information and vote.

The school's lobby...

Teachers at WJHS, this is the faculty "lounge".  They call it the workroom because none of the teachers has her own classroom.  We are lucky to have our own rooms!!!!(Please note the singular use of the verb "has".  I had to look this one up and none CAN go either way, but I prefer the traditional singular version of the verb to agree with NONE.)
WJHS check out the class schedule!! 9 periods 8 to 4.  Students would not have this every day though.  Schedule rotates and kids take public buses to get to and from school.
This is the backpack the KATOM students get to lug their laptops around.  Very nice!
