Oh Herod built more.... Ceasaria, the ball and the end

Cinderella is going to the ball.  I couldn't take a serious picture.  Dress from Fashions, shoes from Marden's.  Shoes were hung up on a fence at midnight and gone in the morning...
The ball!  Ok, it was a Fulbright dinner at the American Ambassador's house.

Ceasaria - spelled many ways.  King Herod's doing again, and then many others.  OLD!!  2000 years ago...

My birthday dinner to myself- Pita with lebani and za'atar, and the red plate has something similar to baklava.

Somehow it all fit, but we had to pay $200 for the extra overweight bag!!!

Masada hike

Up at 3 am, hiking at 4:30 am in 90 degree heat.  An unhappy Elizabeth :)

Masada is another one of King Herod's doings.  Man that guy was ambitious (among other things) with his plans.  And those Romans and Crusaders- not nice.  Israel has layer upon layer of civilizations.  The deeper you go, the older the ruins.

Sunrise over the Dead Sea and Jordanian Mountains...

MASADA!

WInslow JHS goes to mini-Israel.

We took you all to the best place for your little people!  Cheesy but  fun!  It had many of Israel's sights but miniature!

Try to find yourself!

(of course it you did not make yourself you are not here)
